SLIDING SCALE APPOINTMENTS

While a percentage of my practice is reserved for sliding scale and insurance appointments (see my FAQ page about insurance), those spots are currently full. If you look at the team page you will see the therapists I supervise, and many of them have reduced fee and sliding scale openings (ranging from $50 to $200) and have the same specializations that I have. We sometimes also have 2nd-year master’s student interns available from September to May for short-term therapy (6 to 8 months) at $40 per session. Please contact the therapist you would like to work with directly, and you can also fill out the form below to be contacted when a sliding scale appointment becomes available either with me or a member of my team.

Those who have multiple marginalized identities (e.g., BIPOC/PGM, sex workers, and POC/kink/poly/queer/trans-identified folks) are encouraged to apply for sliding scale appointments.

Everyone in the practice is licensed in New York, and Dr. Pitagora is also licensed in the other states listed. Because of licensing regulations, we can only work with people who reside/are located in the state(s) in which we're licensed (i.e., Dr. Pitagora is the only therapist at the practice who can work in CO and DC as well as NY, everyone else can only work with you if you're located in NY).
