Like many of my peers and clients, I’ve experienced the frustration of working with a therapist who isn’t knowledgeable about the queer/trans communities—this has motivated me to do the kind of work that I do as a provider within the community that I serve. You can expect me to join our relationship with curiosity, kindness, and at times a new or challenging perspective.
My practice is informed by experience working in sex education and with trans families, and by a personal moral compass directed towards liberation for all. I have years of experience working with complex trauma and am skilled in working with challenging material. I have completed EMDR training and have now integrated it into my practice, along with a variety of other therapeutic approaches. My primary modality is psychodynamic, which means we will work together to explore the ways emotional experiences of the past affect your life and relationships today, and collaborate to create new possibilities for the future.
Please contact me to inquire about fees and scheduling, and/or to set up a 15-minute consultation call prior to scheduling your first session. I offer remote sessions and a limited number of in-person slots.
