I offer psychotherapy and sex therapy for individuals, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and poly and leather families. I specialize in working with those in the kink, poly, trans, GNC/NB, LGBQ, and sex work communities; those who live openly and out; and those who have more conservative and private lifestyles. My approach is holistic, person-centered, and collaborative.
People seek therapy with me for a variety of reasons, including: difficulty adjusting to relationship difficulties or traumatic experiences; sexual functioning issues; a deeper understanding of identity or sexuality; changes in relationship structure or power dynamic; and/or a better understanding of their partner’s/partners’ needs. Some work with me on issues unrelated to gender or sexuality, but feel more comfortable speaking to a therapist with first-hand knowledge of alternative lifestyles and practices.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering space in which to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; identify patterns and potential barriers to progress that connect with current life experiences and/or to the past; recognize and build on personal strengths, resilience, and insight; and improve communication and decision-making skills. We’ll work together to create concrete goals, and you’ll take an active role in achieving them with my support and guidance.
